Episode 255: How Can We Handle Shame?

How is shame like vampires? Why is it so difficult to hear information about ourselves that doesn't fit with what I believe to be true? How should we receive race related criticism? We shouldn't manage our white guilt and shame with BIPOC. Shame can derail our work if we do not allow it to be aired so it can dissipate and be gone.
